In my opinion, ANet should really make farming Lightbringer points easier. I can get about 500 points with heroes and henchmen (so let's say 1000 with a full team) per hour, which simply isn't enough. I'm currenly at sixteen thousand points, and I really don't feel like spending another 18 hours just to max this title. And of course, it's even lamer see'ing alot of people got there Holy Lightbringer (8) title just by afk'ing for ~900 points per hour.

I'd like to see something like +5 Lightbringer points Blessings, or maybe just an area with enemies that you can kill alot quicker.

NOTE: If 500 points per hour is just incredibly low, please tell me, maybe I'm just whining for nothing

Coulnd't find any posts/information about getting more then that anywhere.

A title is something you have to EARN. You don't see them making it easier to get the Wisdom title do you? If you want it, grind it. If you dont, you get plenty of points to reap the benefits of the title just by doing quests.

What is this afk Lightbringer farming I've been hearing about? How can you kill things while afk? Can someone explain this to me please?

You can set up heroes and henchmen to tank a single mob outside of Gate of Nightfallen Lands and degen it slowly. The mob would replicate itself and then degen to death, giving you LB points. The heroes can keep this up ednlessly while you afk nearby.

A week or two after it was discovered, anet nerfed afk farming so you don't get points from replicated monsters, only the original ones, but some people managed to max out their LB title by afking during those two weeks.

Maybe because most other titles are just for show, and this title actually gives you a small advantage in abbadon infested area's

And to be finally able to catch up to those who've afk'd their title tho the limit

This one title is tied to an actual skill and zone so there should be an acceptable way to max it without months of grinding.

2 points is a pain in the ass. I think this is a good idea. And while they do that, maybe they can update the Spearmarshal title! (I just really want that thing possible to get, sorry).

Right now I'm currently approaching 16,000 LB Points, and this title is one heck of a grind. 2 Points per kill is just too low, especially comparing to some of the bounties for Sunspear Points that reach up to 7 points a kill. I'd have my title by now, I think I must have spent upwards of 20+ straight hours farming so far and I'm not even half way there....

It seems unfair that those who AFK-ed forever still get to keep their LB Points after the update. I wasn't lucky enough to be far enough to even know what they were talking about (usually PvP forever in the beginning of new campaigns to get used to skills). 2 points per kill is so little. At least make it 4 if not 5.

I'd be interested in some Rare Scrolls or something that grant double Lightbringer points for a period of time.

I like it the way it is
It's one of the only titles that actually has any meaning and therefore should be MUCH tougher to get.
Just means you all have to work harder is all

But I think this title should be tweaked because there was a way to get it maxed the afk way. I wouldnt mind it as it is now if tehre was no afk farming.
